Finally a tool for accurate placement of tire screws on  15" or 16" wheels. Made of stainless steel, this tool will last forever. It has been designed to locate off of the wheel bolt pattern and fits 4.5", 4.75" and 5" bolt circles. Once mounted to the wheel, racers can mark 6, 8, 12 or 16 locations per side of the wheel. These markings are perfectly spaced around the wheel, eliminating all of the guesswork. Precision placement not only provides even balancing on the wheel, but looks professional and clean.
Shown here on a 15" wheel with a 4.75" bolt circle. Depending on the application, you can choose either 6,8,12 or 16 screws per side of the wheel.  Once you decide how many screws to use, simply mark the wheel wherever you see the laser etched number.

The first thing that needs to be determined is how many tire screws your application will require.  Due to the many variables involved, the answer to this question is ultimately in the hands of the end user.
SAFETY FIRST: Remember that tire screws are NOT intended to be an alternative to beadlock wheels.  Tire screws should not be used on vehicles that can exceed 200 mph in the quarter mile or 150 mph in the eighth mile.
If you are at a total loss regarding how many tire screws to use per side of your wheels, refer to the table below for typical examples based on 1/8th mile ET’s.
1/8th mile ET      # of screws per side

7.51 or Slower                      6

6.51 - 7.50                             8

5.51 - 6.50                            12

4.75 - 5.50                            16
